The WCO has published the 87th edition of WCO News, the Organization’s flagship magazine aimed at the Customs community, which provides a selection of informative articles that touch the international Customs and trade landscape.

This edition features a special dossier on the 2018 WCO Council Session, with reflections on the areas of work identified by WCO Members as a priority, as well as articles on the work accomplished by the Secretariat from July 2017 to June 2018.

It also gathers, in the Focus section of the magazine, a series of articles on the “Blockchain” and how this technology could be applied within the Customs and trade environments, where participants in a transaction need to exchange information.

Several administrations and experts also took the time to share their experiences in the assessment of trade facilitation policies, the use of technology, the simplification of export processes, and much more.

It has been our pleasure to produce another edition of WCO News, and we trust that you will enjoy reading it, whether it be the paper version or the new digital version that can be easily read on mobile devices.
