A safe environment for the economic development was under the slogan that the Comorian Customs celebrated the World Customs Day on 26th January 2018. A ceremony that brought together the 3 islands in the presence of the president of comoros .


The Director General of Customs emphasized the importance of having a safe way to import and export goods to improve the economy of our country and have an absolute confidence in our economic operators our partners as well as the whle population.

Created in 1892, the Comorian customs contributes 65% of the revenue in the country. Hence,It is essential to strengthen the capabilities and build an environment that can lead us to have more benefits than to lose for the coming year. Declared the Director General of comorian Customs.

The year of 2017 was the best of them all, said the Director General because of the extreme increase in revenue recorded last year.

The atmosphere was present throughout that afternoon devoted to the parade of the brigade corps in the presence of the governors of the country.

On 23rd january 2018, the World customs Day was celebrated in advanced in Anjouan. Border security was among the top topics highlighted during that day.

On 28 June 2022, at the invitation of the Belgian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance in charge of the Coordination of the Fight against Fraud, Mr. Van Peteghem, the Secretary General of the World Customs Organization (WCO), Dr. Kunio Mikuriya, took part in the graduation ceremony of the 50th session of the Belgian Customs School.
