TRAINING WORKSHOP ON LEADERSHIP AND DEVELOPMENT OF COMORIAN CUSTOMS MANAGERIAL STAFF.

On Monday, 3rd December, 2018, the Opening Ceremony of the Training Workshop on Leadership and Development of managerial staff of the Comorian Customs was held at 9:00 am at the Golden Tulip, which will take place until December 14, 2018.

Established by the World Customs Organization (WCO) by the request of the Directorate General ofComoros Customs whose main objective is to strengthen the capacity building of its customs officers. This ceremony was chaired by the Director General of Comoros customs Mr. SOUEF Kamalidini, in the presence of the two experts of the WCO, namely Mrs. RACHEL AUCLAIRE, Mr. SI MOHAMED EL HAI and the twenty beneficiary participants.

The participants came from the different centers and directorates of Comoros customs namely the Central Receiver, Mr. ZAKI Ben Salim, the Technical Advisor to the Director General, Mr. FOUAD Mohamed, the Regional Directors of Customs, the Heads of Customs Centers of Moroni-Port, Mutsamudu-Port and Hahaya-Airport, heads of departments, coordinators and inspectors auditors.

WCO participates in the graduation ceremony of the Belgian Customs School

On 28 June 2022, at the invitation of the Belgian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance in charge of the Coordination of the Fight against Fraud, Mr. Van Peteghem, the Secretary General of the World Customs Organization (WCO), Dr. Kunio Mikuriya, took part in the graduation ceremony of the 50th session of the Belgian Customs School. The ceremony marked the end of 10 months of theoretical and practical training in core Customs matters provided by the Belgian Customs School and complemented by the WCO.
